The boy friend bit sounds straight out of Friends episode. Ross, his first wife and her lesbian lover.

At first he thinks its kinky to have a threesome, only later to realize that his wife was falling in love with another.

I wonder what’s shittier though for someone in boyfriend’s shoes; falling in love with another or the gender bit?
