There's that quote, that feminism is the radical idea that women deserve equal rights. While I'd say that it's not always true, I think it's a definite fact that most places around the world offer more privilege to males than females, just like caucasian people tend to have more privilege than black people. I don't see this piece as being stereotypically "feminist" - I see it as being equalizing, pointing out that both biological females and males go through the same sorts of issues surrounding gender constructs, but in our society today, men tend to have it easier in the event they decide to deviate from the binary.
