I had approached a renowned Reiki Grand Master respected Ms Renu, when I was just 18. But unfortunately, my mum too had accompanied. The moment I uttered "Problem is that I am in love with another female and I cannot spend my whole life with her" BANG...Renu ma'm ended up consoling my mum. I was more worrying about my 1000/- getting wasted as the time ticked, and the session got over while my mum consulted her for other topics, ignoring mine completely. I guess, she felt ashamed of me. But ma'm did recommend a 7 days reiki healing sessions for me, which I enjoyed a lot, and was able to deal with the tensed atmosphere back at home,as I was actually bycotted for the rest of my days there, then I went back to my hostel where my girl was eagerly waiting for me...!!! :P @Deeps: lols…you reminded me of my first quest. Which in turn did confuse me at times, esp. coz it somehow didn't help me to deal with the guilt I was already burdened with. I had gone to them on my own -to understand my feelings, not out of family pressure for a cure. I do not know if other people have experienced this to a more-or-lesser degree. All at the nice time, when whole world is recession hit. Gurus spreading their wings across nation now, Political leaders speculating about the possible loss or gain of vote-banks at upcoming polls, and our businessmen calculating their possible growth in market share. Any educated person, may or may not be literate, will not get lured by such false claims. For others, my message for them would be: Live and Let Live. Love and be loved. Sounds to me like seeking opportuinity in disguise, for fame, career and money. All at the nice time, when whole world is recession hit.
