I received considerable flak for this post, not the least of which were some ugly comments & mails from the person I mentioned in the post. In addition, there were a fair number of people who advised me to just ignore it and get on with life. I decided to take their suggestion since I didn't think this person's behaviour merited any further attention. Besides it has been a different sort of lesson to learn that not all gay people are as lovely as my close friends. I guess that is true of all human beings and I suppose I'm just lucky to know a large number of gay men and women who are truly delightful human beings. I think you acted in the right way and sometimes when things are said online its hard to tell how others will interpret something. Btw, off topic but i'd like to say i really like your blog.
