The treatment of the subject has been carried out in a fairly respectful fashion so far … heartening that it isn’t satire ( Apart from the odd snickering on the lines of “Thats why he runs from his wife!!” …but heck. That does happen. Both snickering and running from the wife. )
And just as a teaser – There is even a forehead kiss. Thats right! A show of affection between two gay men on a Hindi Soap Opera! and not just a bromance-dude hug…Its a tender forehead kiss with anguished expressions and everything.

what is particularly heartening is that desi tv forums on the whole have been supportive of the story line and understanding of the gay angle. And negative comments against homosexuality on the articles are getting a thumbs down response . Some people are appreciative and proud that their show has been bold enough to show this on Indian tv.
