Gallery Engendered Space and Abadi Art Space proudly announce Queering Making: A two-part exhibition that queers the lens of memory and lived experiences. Queering Making I opens at Gallery Engendered Space on Sat, Nov 24. The exhibition comprises of both an interactive component and a formal exhibition by contemporary artists. The interactive component will invite viewer participation, which will provide a means for queer folk to bring personal objects, photos, audio pieces and visual memories which will then be catalogued and exhibited as part of the exhibition as an open contemporary library. Thus further queering the subject-object dynamic.

We would like to invite individuals to come forth with queer memorabilia that can be part of the interactive aspect of Queering Making I exhibition. Individuals may bring photographs, objects, pieces of audio/visual memories that have a personal story attached to them and make it part of the exhibition.

We will accept individual memorabilia donations through the length of the exhibition (Nov 24 to Dec 21).
