Poem : Conformity

Is he a boy or a girl.
A half woman, not man enough.
She is faking it, he is not for real
They is not themselves.

Is he a boy or a girl.
A half woman, not man enough.
She is faking it, he is not for real
They is not themselves.

Be gay, but not so effeminate.
Be a lesbian, but a girly one.
Be what you are, but not like how you want to be.
Be the change, but be in control.

He loves shopping.
I’m telling you he is secretly gay.
She is a little tomboyish.
She must be into women.

He is too ugly to be gay.
He is too cute to be straight.
Her hair is way too short.
Something must be wrong with her.

He is young and into older men.
Daddy issues.
He is old and into younger guys.
Plain creepy.

I’m into “straight-acting men.”
I’m into south- Indian men.
I’m into cultured English speaking men.
I’m into myself.
I’m discreet.

Pickle, pickle.
