In an era of internet dating, we have all but forgotten the good old days of cruising and the infamous hotspots of Mumbai, it’s time for us to rediscover that almost forgotten heritage with people who lived through those hay days of non internet cruising spots. We bring back a very successful and insightful journey through Mumbai’s Queer Heritage, we bring you Yaariyan’s Gulabi Yatra.

We explain the special lingo, nuisances and wonderful stories from the very people who lived through the hay days. This will be a journey by foot and public transport , a unique experience through space and time and tell you about the pink pages out of Mumbai’s history books; while we visit important cruising, social and cultural spaces of the city.

This time we partner with KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival, South Asia’s Biggest Queer Film Festival.

The Gulabi Yatra will start at Gallery Beyond where we will visit ‘The 377191 Wall’ Art Exhibition, organized by Gallery beyond and KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival. The exhibition which brings together 238 artists exhibiting 279 artworks to support ‘Freedom to Express, Freedom to Choose’, is one of the biggest art exhibitions on show in Mumbai.
