Photo Essay: Love In Motion, Pune Pride 2018.

I’m a newbie to Pune, and I’ve hardly ever seen anything, but when I heard that pride was happening at the same time that I was going to be home after my convocation (read jobless period of time), I couldn’t wait! And what a day it was.

‘Prem Manjhe Prem Astha, Tumcha Amcha Same Astha’, Love means love, yours and mine is the same love.

The 8th edition of the Pune Pride was organised by the Samapathik Trust at 10 am on a gorgeous (and sunny) morning near Sambhaji Maharaj Park, JM Road.

I chose not to caption each picture because these images speak for themselves and I didn’t want my voice to be a distraction from the happiness one can see exuberated in each of them. Truly, like paintings of the soul, a pride parade, a march, a festival always promises those with an open heart an experience worth living through.
