   I am not a Gold Star Dyke and this information was something that one of my ex-partners would use as an insult every time we had a fight. I don't believe this label, but because I believe that one's sexuality is a spectrum of a fluid nature and exploration should very much be a part of it. I have also been a 'late bloomer', lemme call myself a lil more experienced than you Goldies! :P

    I agree with dpnwta that sexuality is fluid, and "gold star" enforces the binary. I am not a gold star... however, I wish I was. Therefore, I AM giving brownie points to those of you who are :P (just kidding kinda).
