YES! A lot! more than I want to remember! Have argued, snapped, snarled, ignored, grumbled and growled. And educated. Been getting an education myself too.

I remember having a really strong argument with one of my friends on a beach in Goa somewhere in Jan 2010. It was exactly a year later that I realised I may be gay.

I would classify him as a homephobe because his argument, though founded in religion (a religion that is common to him and me), was something on the lines of it being a "crazy feeling" that can be overcome and it being equivalent to "having sex with an animal" and that "gays are freaks" and blah blah. I remember being really really angry and arguing with him till the end while all my other friends safely stayed out of the discussion.

That day I was wondering why his comments angered me so much. Today I know why :)

I think he just represents the entire regular Indian population who will always look down upon us. My only sadness is that he belongs to the same generation as me and his beliefs are certainly not a good news!

Well, like they say, control what you can!

I had an fierce debate with some heterosexual colleagues of mine about legalizing gay marriage and adoption... Not outright homophobia, but unsupportive nonetheless. :(

A family member once compared it to being a women, or being brown or any other discrimination ...needless to say I bit their heads off :D However, I don't think its homophobia per se that caused that. I have encountered homophobia in different people.. and it stems for something as simple as them not being able to wrap their heads around something new.
Which leads me to think that the same people if told that the Potato is a fruit, would be aghast and horrified! :D

I do not understand why people are afraid about Homos or Gays. People do not understand about humans and their nature. Nobody loves anybody by heart. Nobody knows what exactly a person needs in his life and what he does not. Educated ones with great degrees, erotic wear and professional guys do not try to gain knowledge about the inner feelings. That is right b'cause today nobody has time to deal with anybody, but atleast that person should be able to atleast talk to someone in a nice way.

I am a gay and had sex with one of my relatives as he was close to me. Now I am feeling acward what to do in such situations. I am in troublesum like way. I do not have friends now, and everybody dislikes me. I truly do not understand how to cope with all this. Well I am well educated with a Masters degree, but I am a bit afraid. I want to know the counselling center for gays. Will somebody help me? It should be in mumbai, not in Vasai, cause people may know what I am.

I just want to question one thing, do really people tend to UNDERSTAND WHAT HUMANITY IS?
