   I don't actually watch this show but i found this interesting fanvideo of two of the actresses on the show Dil Mil gaye ( i think).

   I found out later that they'r'e sisters but if you neglect that fact these scenes plus the song do look quite romantic. Or maybe im just desperate for some sort of representation.

   Haha, there was some awesome chemistry between Jennifer Winget and Shilpa Anand later on in the show, but they were sisters too. Sapna Baabul Ka ... when it first started, had some pretty decent "sisterly" chemistry.

   We used to have shows with a lot more lesbian subtext in the 90s till Ekta Kapoor and the saas-bahu era happened.

   Thanks for that info Prerna. Must check out those shows. Darn that Ekta Kapoor and her saas-bahu serials. I've heard a couple of people suspect her but if she is one then she should be giving us some hidden lesbian subtext like Karan Johar does for his gay male fans (eg. a gay kiss in kal ho na ho song)
