    Alright Teacher,

    1. Saving Face (Simple take on complex issues and funny as hell!)
    2. Mulholland Drive (Just for that make-out scene! Plus I love David Lynch.)
    3. The Hours (Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman and Julianne Moore in ONE movie. Yep!)

I forgot to mention "Justify you answer.", but I can see that you are a good student.

    2. Philadelphia
    3. Kissing Jessica Stein (the ending should have been different, but the movie was absolutely brilliant! )

I love I Can't Think Straight, but I'll share my other faves :)

    1. Better Than Chocolate

This movie is, simply put, amazing. It covers some pretty heady stuff, including awkwardness with parents, and transphobia within the queer community, but it does it in a very tactful way without ever getting too dark. On the whole, it's sweet and funny, and the most "real" lesbian film I've ever seen. Plus, it has a great soundtrack, and I'm an audiophile :) Definitely my absolute favorite queer movie to date.

    2. But I'm A Cheerleader

Romantic comedy...but satirical. And amazing. It's totally over the top with gay stereotypes and socially constructed gender roles, but that's why it's so funny. The premise is that this girl, whose family and friends think she's a lesbian, gets sent to religious "straight camp". Of course, hilarity ensues. Again, a great soundtrack. It's a campy, feel-good film, so there's no way you can not enjoy it :)

    3. Red Doors

This one's about a Chinese-American family (while I've never watched Saving Face, I hear these two are similar) and the 3 daughters' relationships with themselves, their significant others, and their parents. It focuses mostly on the lesbian daughter, but this movie was super moving for me. Especially in showing how the dad deals with his daughters growing up and doing things he doesn't really want them to do - it made me think a lot about desi dads of queer daughters.

@Shri: I read the story of Latter Days. Dude, bang on! Totally gay DDLJ! :)

@bluesky: I am okay. Ummm...thanks for the compliment, but I have no idea which poem you are talking about. I did not post any poem :) Thanks anyway ;) I so want to see "Nina's Heavenly Delights"!! :)

@misszero: Oh yes! "Better Than Chocolate" is superb! The song by the same name is one of my favorites. It's sweet, haunting, intense, simple, emotional all at the same time. Such a simple theme - your love is better than chocolate :)

    2) But I'm A Cheerleader
I mean...I wish all dykes like the movie wouldn't take themselves seriously! :)

The ratio of estrogen to testosterone in this (awesome) community is all skewed! But I dont mind having to watch awesome lesbian movies...

    1. The History Boys - Its about boys. Its about love. Its about growing up. Its about doing the right things. Its beautiful.

    2. Shelter - Its the best gay love story out there (in a commercial sense). I have watched it a million times. Love it.

    3. Juste une question d'amour (Just a question of love) - Its not among the best I have watched. But it just resonates with me deep inside somewhere in that dark hollow place where my heart is supposed to be...

Honorable mentions: Bad Education, Latter Days, Beautiful Thing, Protect me from what I want (Short)... a really long list.
