This piece brings to you the hopes and desires of queer folks from different backgrounds, a utopia they wish to inhabit. The main purpose of this piece is to highlight the things we as a community want to happen and/or achieve. A utopia that stems from the feeling of it being okay to dream and have hope for a future we wish to create.

All Is Well With Saikat Majumdar

Naming one book after the other Saikat’s celebratory tone about the fact that much gay fiction and nonfiction is getting published he misses one more point: diversity. How many fictions, nonfictions by trans writer, Saikat? Or for that matter by any gender nonconforming person? Or anyone under the sun except gay man or woman?

Another Day

At 43 years of age, I did not have much to boast of in terms of a personal life. Here I was - a single, gay man living away from my family for nearly 15 years, with many unsuccessful attempts at finding love and some unremarkable short flings.
