Marvel comics will see its first gay marriage in an upcoming summer issue. Their first openly gay character, Northstar, will marry his long time boyfriend Kyle Jinadu in the issue to be released on June 20th.
Congratulations to Marvel for doing their every bit to spread tolerance, acceptance and free love, and what better way than through superheroes? Every child loves a super hero!
Let’s just pray that Magneto does not attempt at foiling the wedding!

Sherlock Homo - No it does not imply that she is curious or that she investigates murder mysteries in 19th century London. As witty as her pen name, Ms. Homo is very well travelled and No, I don't mean the usual markets of Bangkok or a family trip to Universal Studios! I mean the French Rivera, temple ruins in Cambodia, safaris in Botswana.. always on the road less travelled where life experiences and life choices are concerned. Her perspective is unique and you will want to read all about what she has to share. If you don't, prepare yourself to get left behind on lifestyle, gay culture and all things cool. Read on...
it took marvel a long time to come to terms with alternate sexuality but i would still no count it as a total tolerance or acceptance. but rather i would consider this as a fanbase service. As a long time geek here are my points:
1. Rogue was meant to be the daughter of destiny and mystique, wherein, mystique impregnated destiny in male form. but it is still considered to awkward to accept in society.
2. here’s my favourite: deadpool is probably bi and visibly gender non-conforming on many occasions, the same with daken who is highly bi-sexual due to his release of pheromones. Spidey’s spidey since starts to tingle everytime deadpool is nearby but yet the call was to make spidey and innocent straight guy who is clueless. (not that i am supporting a deadpool X spidey romance, I mean how do you top a man who is sticking to the ceiling).
