What are you doing Saturday, 13th September 2014?
Never mind that. I’ll tell you exactly what you’ll be doing.
You will be at the amazing, fabulous, god damn entertaining, queer-ky, one and only…
Dirty Talk 7.0 !!!
As we sixty-nine into 2014, Gaysi’s very own homegrown night to remember is back and this time, we are coming for you.
As old yore goes, some of us at Gaysi like the ladies…actually, we like everyone, but we really really REALLY like the ladies. Sometimes it’s dogs though. Depends on the weather.
But coming back to the point…
For Dirty Talk’s 7th edition, all of us are embracing the theme of:
Women in Contemporary India.
It’s gonna be a no holds barred, brazen, riveting night of spoken word, performances, music, standup, comic acts and much much more on the topic of women in this country (SAARC nations also allowed with new foreign policy), their loves, lives, loathes, likes and every other L word there is.
…..and we want you to be a part of it.
Call For Performance Entries
Come out, stand up and perform that night. The Gaysi crowd and roster of performers are some of the best hidden local acts in town. They’ll also clap no matter what – so you’ll be just fiiiiiineeeeeeeeee. Rules?
- It should be as per the theme. Last date to send in entry is 31st August. We accept all types of spoken word performances – Poetry, Monologue, Stand up, Song and anything else you can think of.
- Email us your request to perform : gaysifamily[at]gmail[dot]com
- Once you are selected, there will be a rehearsal a week prior to the event so watch out for that.
- No blatant bigotry or homophobia/transphobia allowed unless it is an artistic or aesthetic component in the performance itself.
