Walking The Mumbai Pride March 2019

The 11th Queer Azaadi Mumbai Pride March took place on Saturday, 2nd Feb 2019. Gaysi Family is proud to have walked along with 15,000 strong, colourful, powerful individuals. It was also the first Mumbai Pride after the iconic section 377 ruling that took place Sept 2018. People from all walks of life came together to celebrate and demand better rights and treatment for the queer community in India. The most popular demand was for the Trans Bill to be struck down.

The Sec 377 ruling was the first step towards a better, more equal India. We only hope that we move forward.
