As someone who followed the Jessica Lal case very closely, watching almost similar turn of events unfold on the celluloid screen in the film No One Killed Jessica was quite emotional. Well so it ended up being. Now mind you, it was a film I knew I would like even before the reviews were up or the film was released.

The script, the actors, the music, the directions; none were of importance, only the story…the reality of it, mattered.

Though much was left un-shown, the question I was left with – Will my family have the balls to stand up for me? To be honest, I am not too sure. But I fucking hell do hope they borrow some (courage) from Sabrina Lal.

@ Sabrina: You are one brave soul. And inspiration for many.

Currently nursing a massive crush on actress Chitrangada Singh (kind of eerie, her resemblance to the late Smita Patil, don’t you think?).
