Feeling amazing after watching Vicks #TouchOfCare video… I have to say we are living in exciting times for the transgender community; we finally have some visibility, there’s correct representation of trans people in media, and we are witnessing true impressions and forward leading information about trans people!
Gauri Sawant – you are our true hero, and the whole Gaysi Family congratulates you on breaking stereotypes and sexist assumptions about gender in Media.
Vicks India – we hope your action inspires other brands/corporates to open their doors to this community and create fantastical equal opportunities.
Media Industry – We have many talented trans actors in our country, please stop casting cisgender people for trans characters in mainstream movies and TV series. Lets drop the stigma.
