It’s Back ! The Mumbai Pride 2014 Calendar has just come out !
With a roster of diverse and amazing events lined up for January 2014, you will find yourself not just queer and proud but crazy social this month!
The fun kicks off with a Marathi Play: Dushyantpriya on January 11th. Jiggy in the Queer Musical, Partake in the Queer Games or just trot over to have a good time at Gaysi’s Dirty Talk – Round it all off with the Queer Azaadi March on Feburary 1st because we are here, queer and darn well proud of it.
Every event in support of the Queer community in the aftermath of the 377 ruling weighs heavy with meaning – that of a good fight for equal rights, the need to live and love, the deep ache for validation and acceptance.
So if you are straight, lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans or just plain queer because your hair on your grows in a different direction like mine does – Don’t be shy. Come out. Come out. Wherever you are. This is the beginning of the biggest party for new human and civil rights this country has ever seen.
