well, this particular mallu is floored. and in thrissur?! i mean, granted, i’ve never lived in kerala, but my dad’s parents are near there and i would have never guessed. but i’m impressed 🙂 i’m sort of tempted to sneakily create some anonymous email account and start spamming my parents with flyers for this
Kerala has a famously huge population of lesbians. So seriously, about time! The papers have been writing about Kerala’s lezzies for years now.
obviously, my parents have been hiding the papers!! methinks it might be time for a visit to the homeland…anything for the girlies! 😉
[…] Kerala – Queer Pride and Performances on 2nd July at Regional Theatre, Thrissur. The very first of its kind in the state, so come on folks show your support in whichever way possible. […]
atlast kerala . ..too good and all the best you guys !!
wow…i’ll miss it by a month…but really proud to see this is happening over there!!!
Husbands leave to work in the Gulf for extended period of time- What’s a girl to do!!
I don’t think Kerala inspires more ‘lezzies’, but that is perhaps the outcome of a state that claims a disproportionate number of expats.
You know us lesbians so well – the only reason we are with other women is we JUST CAN’T FIND A MAN! If only there were more men in the world – we could be happy & not gay.
wow! you did not just say that. so on one side we have all the religious bigots claiming gay people are just misguided and/or need treatment to return to the “normal’ way of life and on the other there’s you according to whom there’s nothing like a nice, person of the opposite sex to take away our gayness.
I am really thrilled to hear about it . B’cause i participated in the all editions of chennai gay pride march at Mareena. my best wishes to one and all
