Taking cues from the legacy of Raja Ravi Varma and the visual idealisations of womanhood he portrayed, author and columnist Rosalyn D’Mello and visual artist and Bellevue Salons curator Sharmistha Ray discuss gender representation and the pleasure of looking.

Join us for Sangeet Bari, a contemporary Lavani performance written by Bhushan Korgaonkar with direction by Savitri Medhatul, and performed by Shakuntalabai Nagarkar with Sunita Dhondraikar.
