In light of the recent Supreme Court ruling which has recriminalized homosexuality in India, the exhibition now seeks to explore the effects this judgment has had on queer individuals across the country, as well as exploring what it really means to exist in, or emerge out from, the socially-constructed closet. While some who have come out already experience fear and doubt, others have now chosen to come out of their closets in protest. This year’s exhibition will revolve around the closet as a symbol of oppression, and the notion of individuality as defined either by living in it, or coming out of it.

We are currently inviting entries, in the form of photographs, artwork, cartoons or caricature. The last date for submission is 15th January, 2014. We accept original pieces from all over the world.
