Gaysi Family is thrilled to invite you to Zine Bazaar 2018: Bombay Edition on the 1st and 2nd of September 2018 at G5A Foundation, Mahalaxmi!
At its heart, a bazaar is a space for celebration. With its different sights, scenes,colours, people, and the exchange of thoughts and ideas. A bazaar is a space for collaboration and this, we want to share with you.
Zine Bazaar in its first edition focuses on Identity and all its facets – how we experience it, create it, share it, and how it is viewed and consumed by others. At Gaysi, we know how central our identities are to our beings and how we experience the world. We understand how complex they are and how powerful they are. Identities spark conversations. Sometimes they’re shut out, sometimes they break open barriers.
Zine Bazaar leads this discovery to find and flaunt our identities: out and proud through the exploration of art, design, storytelling and pure homegrown love.
Highlights of the 2 day event include;
Zine Stalls – A spread of 50+ independent artists and publishers exhibiting their work at Zine stalls.
Design Workshops – Meant to make you challenge what you already know and build skills in new exciting areas.
Activity Talks – Designed to discuss questions plaguing the community.
All in all you have wonderful storytellers, expressionists and artistes, all under one roof.
