Artist: Abhishek Choudhary
The presented body of work, collectively titled ‘Now You Can Go Home’ is an ongoing photographic project from past three years and has been shot in different spaces that the artist identifies as ‘home’ and explores how intimate spaces become play zones of identity, performance and a creation of personal mythology. Spanning from self-portraits to images of different subjects who perform as characters, the artist has created a story that involves the viewer as much as it engages with the themes it develops. Many of the photographs here have been exhibited at various exhibitions and were recently published in the Gaysi Zine Issue # 5.
