#FiveFilms4Freedom, the world’s widest-reaching LGBTQ+ digital campaign returns for a fourth edition from 21 March – 1 April 2018. British Council in partnership with BFI Flare: London LGBTQ+ Film Festival are making five LGBTQ+ themed short films available for the world to watch online for free, over a 12-day period. Last year, the films were viewed 1.8 million times by people in 202 countries and principalities, including parts of the world where homosexuality is criminalised, and in some cases, punishable by the death penalty.
British Council India in partnership with Social and Gaysi Family is inviting people to come and watch these incredible films on the 26th of this month at Todi Mill Social, Mumbai.

Goldfish / Greece, 10 mins: Yorgos Angelopoulos’s ‘Goldfish’ follows 7 year old Stratis, who reveals to his father that his goldfish is gay and is named after Tom Daley.
Landline / UK, 11 mins: Matt Houghton’s ‘Landline’ is a short documentary about the only helpline in the UK for gay farmers.
