New Zealand Legalizes Same Sex Marriage

Earlier this week New Zealand became the latest nation to legalize same sex marriage. On Wednesday afternoon, the parliament voted and passed the bill 77-44 as lawmaker applauded the final count.

Soon after the decision was made on lookers and lawmakers present broke into a love song in celebration of this historic moment in marriage equality.

New Zealand joins the rank of Argentina, Belgium, Canada, Iceland, The Netherlands, Norway, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, and Portugal
