Different

In shadows deep and daylight’s glare,
Evil roams unchecked, aware,
I cower in the corners, small,
My scars must never show at all.

Their deeds known, no scorn they face,
Yet I, unlike them, must erase,
Lest judgment’s shouts my silence break,
And my difference, shame awake.
