As much as the Pride events might be a novelty in the thamizh state, it has one of the largest TG populations and has been a pioneer for the last couple years in that specturm. Thanks to the selfless efforts from activists like Kalki (who runs the Sahodari foundation) and others, who have made great strides to show the real, humane side of reality. And, did you know that Rose is the first openly TG host with a prime time slot (This might be a first thing in India). Hats off to people like them! With events like this I don’t have a doubt that we are on the correct path to being “Singara Chennai”!
