South Asia’s biggest LGBTQ film festival, and one of Mumbai’s important cultural events, the 8th edition of KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival will be held May 24-28, 2017 at two venues India’s oldest Art Deco theater Liberty Cinema and Alliance Francaise de Bombay. The theme for KASHISH 2017 is ‘Diverse, One’, echoing the sentiment that we are strongest when we come together, when we embrace one another’s uniqueness and celebrate our differences.
This year KASHISH will screen 147 Films from 45 Countries!
Packed with the best of global LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer) film screenings, filmmaker interactions, panel discussions, open mics, performances and red carpet events, the festival will embrace diversity in its truest sense.
