Dear friends…..QUILT is back after a hiatus. It is the time for new hope when the broad picture in the nation is showing signs towards betterment of conditions for LGBTQI and gender non-conforming persons, with the curative petition decision of Feb 2016 and the transgender rights bill shaping up.
The upcoming meet will be Orinam’s Queering Literature (QUILT) 25th Meet since its initiation in Dec 2012. Let’s take time to share and appreciate literature that has contributed to positive feelings about the issues of gender and sexuality. Do join us on our 25th meet and share this new wave of hope and optimism through literature. Readings in English and Tamil are welcome.
