To different people, this eclectic city means different things. To me from Chennai, it means one thing – Alcohol.
And easily available at that, like at the local department store. HAH! I mean, they could sell unicorns and I wouldn’t be as thrilled.
But enough beating around the bush. I will come to the matter. Imagine my excitement when I say…
WE ARE LAUNCHING THE GAYSI ZINE IN BANGALORE!!
WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO.
That’s right ! After a crazy Mumbai launch, we are bringing the Zine to BLR.
Mark your dates folks!: 19th October, 2013 from 6-8 pm at Bangalore with the wonderful folks at Urban Solace, our hosts who are providing us a great space for the event.
Now, since we don’t do anything in half measures and its never just about us – We’ve got a few things lined up to celebrate Bangalore’s Queer Community at large.
With a roster of performances : the odd stand-up, the mesmerizing storyteller, the wistful ponderer, the koothu dancer and so on … we hope to kick things off with a bang!
The best part? Its not just us! QRadio and Queer Reads are partnering up with the Gaysi Family to make this event happen. These folks just made the party a whole lot merrier.
All that is left is for you guys to join us, mingle, enjoy the evening, grab a copy of the zine if you fancy and celebrate Bangalore at its queerest best!
